After Windows 10 upgrade I have exactly the same isue. I don't want back to Windows 8. If have tried to run the troubleshooter, but it failes to run. And advanced startup options with MB memory don't help.

Even tested the loudspeakers with my IPad, the still work. Eventhing seems fine, but there is no sound ;-. Can anyone help me please? It is a bit sillence in my room andnot solving the problem costed me three hours until now. I had this problem but help fro PCSpecialist who built my box has solved my fault so t ry using this link from the realtek website for updated drivers for your sound card.
